Day 1 - Hike 9,000 feet (5 kilometers) to Juda ka Talab from Sankri

Day 2 - Hike 11,200 feet from Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp

The much-anticipated walk from Kedarkantha Base Camp to the Summit begins at around 4:00 AM. At initially, the 3-kilometer trail climbs softly, but the incline increases as you approach the summit. As you travel, breathtaking vistas and snow-covered fields lead the way. Reaching Kedarkantha Peak at 12,500 feet in time for sunrise is the highlight of the day.

Day 4 - Trek from Juda ka Talab to Sankri Village (6 km) and Return to Dehradun (8 hours drive)
After breakfast on the final day of your hike, you will leave Juda Ka Talab and travel the final six kilometres back to Sankri Village. Passing through the same beautiful pine and oak trees you observed on your ascent, the trail provides a leisurely stroll with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Because of the smoother surface and the pure mountain air, this portion of the trip is even more serene as you descend. As you proceed, you can take in the scenery and reflect on the past several days of hiking.
You return to Sankri, the little settlement where the expedition started, after a 2-3 hour hike. Once you're there, you'll have time to unwind and possibly explore Sankri. absorbing the local culture and capturing a few final images of the stunning surroundings.
You will then get into your vehicle and make the eight-hour drive back to Dehradun. You will pass through the stunning valleys of Uttarakhand, which provide vistas of terraced crops, rivers, and traditional villages. Even though the journey is long, it's a great opportunity to relax and chat with other hikers about your incredible experience.
When you arrive in Dehradun by late evening, the walk is officially over, but you will have enduring memories of the stunning Himalayan landscape, challenging terrain, and companions you made along the route.
