How to Reach Mysore

One of Karnataka's better connected cities, Mysore is reachable by car, train, and aircraft. The airport in Mysore is not fully operational and is not connected to all important cities, despite the fact that it exists. Consequently, travellers can fly into Bangalore and travel 170 miles to reach Mysore. Since there are frequent trains to the Mysore railway station, taking a train is a very practical way to go around. Additionally, bus services run frequently, and seating is always available.

Best time to visit Mysore

Although Mysore has a tropical climate, the months of July through February are ideal for travel during the monsoons and winter. The months offer nice weather as a break from the summer's scorching heat. The splendour of the city is best appreciated during these months; summertime is not as good for travel or sightseeing.
