Reechgarh Cave, Pachmarhi – Timings, Best Time to Visit
Reechgarh is a natural cavern in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, which is 5 kilometers from Pachmarhi Bus Station. It is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Pachmarhi and is located close to Duchess Falls.
Reechgarh is a massive cavern with openings on both sides. As you gaze at the top of these rocks, the ridge between them becomes more pronounced at the bottom. There is a dangerous, uneven, and quiet bottleneck in the middle of the about 400-meter-long rift. The cave’s name comes from the belief that sloth bears, or reech in Hindi, once called it home.
You have to clamber through the boulders to get in here. Additionally, one must traverse a short canyon from which a stream must have flowed in order to exit the opposite end. At Reechgarh, you can experience the thrill of across a chasm by changing your body’s direction, which leads to a landscape into the woods. The fresh air that flows across the passage is the most captivating element.

Entry: Rs. 660 for Person without Guide & Rs. 960 per Person with Guide (inclusive of the entry fee for the museum, Satpura National Park, Bee falls, Dutchess Fall, Reechgarh, Astachal Ramya Kund, Rajat Prapat, Panchuli Kund, and Apsara Vihar)
