Mahamandir Temple is a Hindu temple located on Mandore Road in the city of Jodhpur, 3 km from Mehrangarh Fort and 4 km from Jodhpur Junction. It is among the most visited locations in Jodhpur. Constructed in 1812 CE, Mahamandir Temple is renowned for its magnificent architecture, which is supported by 84 exquisitely carved pillars. The elaborate stone carvings on these pillars show various yoga poses. Lord Shiva is the object of devotion in this temple. The temple’s walls and pillars are adorned with exquisitely crafted traditional designs.
