Laxmi Narayan Temple Dalhousie Timing History and How to Reach

Built between 920 and 940 AD, the Laxmi Narayan Temple in Dalhousie is an ancient temple in the Chamba area. Built in the Shikhara style, the temple contains six shrines devoted to Lord Vishnu and Shiva. It also houses exquisite idols, shrines, garb griha, and a mandapa. Rarefied marble is used to create the idol of Lord Vishnu, the primary deity. The roof of the temple is built to withstand the heavy snowfall that occurs frequently between December and February.
