In the Nainital area of Uttarakhand, India, next to Kaladhungi, is a well-known tourist destination called Corbett Falls. Although it is located close to Corbett National Park, it is not inside the park itself. The well-known British hunter and environmentalist Jim Corbett, who was instrumental in creating Corbett National Park, is honoured with the name of Corbett Falls.
Scenic Beauty: The waterfall provides a tranquil setting for those who enjoy the outdoors and is encircled by thick teak forests. It is a well-liked destination for travellers looking for peace and natural beauty because of the rocky terrain, tumbling water, and surrounding scenery.
Accessibility: From Ramnagar, which has excellent rail and road connections to major cities in Uttarakhand and nearby states, visitors can go by road to Corbett Falls. The falls are accessible by a short walk from the main road.
Activities: Visitors can engage in photography, outdoor walks, and picnicking while at Corbett Falls. With family and friends, the area surrounding the falls is perfect for unwinding.
Best time to Visit: The greatest time to see the falls is from July to September, when the water flow is at its highest, during the monsoon season. However, it is a year-round destination due to the surrounding nature and nice weather.
