There are many beautiful waterfalls in the hill station of Pachmarhi, but the Bee Falls is one of the most notable. The Bee Falls, also called Jamuna Prapat, are renowned for providing water to the entire Pachmarhi region. They tumble down from a height of approximately 35 meters. The waterfall’s name comes from the fact that it sounds like a bee from a distance.
Below the waterfall lies a pool, and above it is another. It is a popular swimming area and one of the most popular picnic locations for both locals and visitors. Enjoy the pleasant experience by standing beneath the cool shower or quickly cooling off in one of the many rocky pools. Everyone is in awe when they see the waterfall tumbling down the lush valley.
Hiring a local transit service, such as a Jeep, and then making the lengthy trip down the stairs will get you to Bee Falls. Be cautious since the poorly maintained steps could become slick during the monsoon season. Seniors and children should not do this. The view is breathtaking and the shower is fun once you arrive at the falls. One will find small vendors sending snacks and tea around the fall.
