Hunder Village, Nubra Valley, Leh Ladakh
Seven kilometers from Diksit Monastery, Hunder is a secluded town in the Nubra Valley region. Sand dunes, chilly deserts, and Bactrian camel rides are among of its most well-known features. Additionally, sea-buckthorn forests, a medicinal plant, can be found there. Hunder is well-liked among hikers. Here, private operators offer tent lodgings.
Hunder village is incredibly beautiful and covered with greenery. One of the oldest monasteries in the Nubra Valley is the Hunder Gompa. The army controls the territory beyond the settlement, which is near the Pakistani border and Siachen Glacier. An inner line permission is not required for Indian tourists to enter Hunder Valley.
