Two enormous stone elephants greet guests at the entrance. Standing in front of the shrine is a stone slab bearing inscriptions honoring Maharana Jagat Singh. There are thirty-two marble steps leading up to the main shrine. The celestial bird Garuda is depicted in brass and guards Lord Vishnu’s gateway. The magnificent black stone figure of Lord Vishnu, with four arms, is housed in the main temple. The main temple is surrounded by four lesser shrines, each honoring a different deity: Lord Ganesha, the Sun God, Goddess Shakti, and Lord Shiva.
