The most visited tourist destination in Jim Corbett National Park is the Dhikala Forest Lodge. It is well-known for seeing the uncommon Hog deer, Dhikala Chaur, spotted deer, and Bengal tigers. Dhikala is accessible to visitors from November 15 to June 15 and is situated 30 kilometres inside the Dhangari gate. The only tourist destination that offers canter safari is Dhikala.

The 32 rooms and 12 bunk beds in two dormitories at Dhikala Forest Lodge are spread across six distinct wings. Additionally, there is a KMVN-run canteen and restaurant in Dhikala that offers buffet meals. Jim Corbett does not allow non-vegetarian food or alcohol.

How to Reach Dhikala, Jim Corbett National Park

You can drive to the Dhikala Forest Lodge. The primary entrance is Dhangari Gate, where each person’s permits and identification will be examined. Large stretches of grasslands, mountains, the Ramganga river, and dense clusters of sal trees surround the Lodge, which is 30 kilometres after the gate and takes a little over an hour to get to. Along the way, you can spot animals. The distance between the Dhikala Forest Rest House and Ram Nagar, the main town, is roughly 43 kilometres.
