About 55 kilometres from Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, Devalsari is located in the Aglar Valley in Tehri Garhwal and is renowned for being a largely unknown region that is also a haven for nature lovers. Encircled by verdant meadows and towering mountains, Devalsari draws tourists seeking adventure and tranquilly.
It is well known for its varied wildlife and flora, which includes more than 60 bird species and more than 70 species of vibrant butterflies. Trekking is another reason to visit this place, in addition to bird watching and butterfly admiration. The base camp for the journey to Nag Tibba, also called the Serpent Peak, is Devalsari. Travelling through the thick oak and deodar forests, one may encounter barking deer and other wildlife along the way. Additionally, a shrine devoted to Koneshwar Mahadev is located here.
