Tiger’s Leap, Lonavala Khandala – Viewpoints. Timings & Best time to Visit

One of Lonavala’s main tourist destinations is Tiger’s Leap viewpoint, which is around 8 km away. With a sheer drop of more than 650 meters, this clifftop provides a thorough overview over the Western Ghats and the highlands. It is well-known for its breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset, particularly on clear days.

Tiger’s Leap is a unique moniker for this location because of the shape’s resemblance to a tiger jumping into a valley. This location is only a short distance from INS Shivaji and offers a fascinating view of the valley below. However, it is best to appreciate the thrilling vistas from a safe location rather than the perilous top of the cliff. Tiger’s Leap’s echo point is yet another popular destination.
