Story of Sati Anasuya

The Sanskrit terms nah and asuya are combined to form the word anasuya. These words have meaning for the one who isn’t feeling jealous. Some of the Anasuya family’s stories are told in the Bhagavat Gita. Apart from herself, she had eight sisters and one brother. All of the daughters married a rishi. The Narada also commends Anasuya. She also teaches Mata Lakshmi, Mata Parvati, and Mata Sarasvati how to be pativrata.

To get permission to visit Anasuya in human form, all three goddesses send their spouses to her. For several days, they don’t visit their wives, and their husbands gave her a six-month-old baby. Three goddesses then approached her and commanded her to return their husbands. As a blessing, all the gods grant her a child with three heads.

It was where Mata Anasuya and Guru Atri resided. During their exile, she imparts a variety of teachings to the Mata Sita. The Mandakini River was even created by her. This place has an old saying that states that it hasn’t had rain in ten years. After years of prayer, she brought the Mandakini River to the world. Because of the sacrifices she had made throughout her life, she was known by the moniker Sati. She was loving and dedicating herself to her hubby.
