One type of waterfall that flows in the other way is called the Reverse Waterfall. One of the rare and most well-known reversing waterfalls in India is this one. The hike to the waterfall is a favorite among adventure seekers and is best experienced during the monsoon season.
The best way to get to the fort and the waterfall is to take the train to Malavli Station, which will drop you off at the village of Lohagadwadi at the base of Lohagad Fort. From there, you may hike for about three hours to locate this hidden jewel, which both locals and trekkers refer to as the Reverse Waterfall. If you enjoy driving, the fort can be reached from Mumbai in just three hours and from Lonavala in forty minutes via the Mumbai-Pune expressway.
