Juhu Beach Mumbai | Timing, Night life & Activities Juhu Chowpatty
Mumbai’s longest beach, Juhu Beach, is also the most visited by tourists. It is also known for its extensive selection of sweet and sour street cuisine with a typical Mumbai flavour. One of Mumbai’s most affluent neighbourhoods, Juhu is home to numerous well-known Bollywood and television stars, the most well-known of which is Amitabh Bachchan, and it’s not uncommon to see a celebrity jogging on the beach.
Many toy merchants, roasted corn vendors and acrobats draw attention during television shoots. You can see a play at the well-known Prithvi Cafe or visit the famed ISKCON Temple, which is just a few meters from the beach, while you’re here. An endless sense of serenity can be experienced simply by strolling across the beach sand. Despite criticism for being dirty, BMC’s efforts in recent years have greatly enhanced the beach’s landscape.
Early mornings at Juhu Beach
Early mornings are a perfect time to visit the beach if you want to escape the crazy crowds and enjoy its laid-back vibe. Only the locals use the beach, which is unexpectedly deserted, for frisbee, dog walks, and morning runs. Along the more than three kilometres of coastline, you would see many runners, many of them barefoot. Only a few vendors are selling tea or coconut water at this hour, and nearly all of the food stalls are closed. The beach is cleaned late night/early morning, so this is also when the beach is at its cleanest!
Juhu Beach Chowpatty
People visit Juhu Beach more for the food at Juhu Chowpatty than for the beach itself. The selection of snacks available on the Chowpatty is very amazing. Near the main parking area, there are numerous stores that provide a variety of regional cuisine, including panipuri, bhelpuri, misal pao, pao bhaji, and vada pao. Great South Indian cuisine is also available, with the most popular dishes being masala dosa, idli, and vada. Chinese is also quite common and well-liked. There is a lot to pick from, and street food enthusiasts would undoubtedly be thrilled, even though the food isn’t the best or, many would argue, the healthiest.

Best Time To Visit Juhu Beach
At any time of year, but particularly in the early morning or evening, Juhu Beach is a wonderful destination. Even during the sweltering summer months, the warm temperatures and refreshing sea air make for delightful evenings. Because of the frequent high tides and the nearly constant wetness of the sand, the monsoon season may not be the ideal time to come. But the sight of large, black clouds drifting across the sea is incredibly captivating.
