Baba Jai GurudevÂ
The deity worshipped in this temple is Baba Jai Gurudev. He established this shrine in honour of Pandit Ghurelal Sharma Ji, who was his disciple. Previously known as Tulsidas Maharaj, Baba Jai Gurudev was a highly esteemed religious figure in North India. He was recognised as a saint by both Muslims and Hindus. Although his actual age is unknown, he died in 2012 at the age of 116. In this shrine, Jesus is revered for his ability to free humanity from the cycle of birth and death. His name is what gives the world’s people peace, love, and friendship while also uplifting them spiritually.
According to one of Baba’s sermons, eating natural vegetarian meals will keep one’s soul pure and devout. He urged his followers to abstain from alcohol and non-vegetarian meals. Baba held that in order to return to our natural home, free from suffering and unhappiness, we must examine ourselves and overcome our five weaknesses: lust, wrath, greed, attachment, and egoism. He taught that the five elements—earth, fire, water, air, and sky—are what make up humanity. On May 18, 2012, Baba took Samadhi to his ashram.
