Maharana Jagat Singh finished it in the first few years of the 17th century. Maharana Amar Singh began construction in 1551, and Maharana Karan Singh carried on building it. Among the most well-known locations to see while traveling to this palace is Gul Mahal, the residence of Shah Jahn and his family. This building is designed in the Islamic architectural style. In order to meet Shah Jahan’s religious needs, a mosque was built here. Other must-see pavilions are Bara Patharon ka Mahal (built from 12 marble slabs), Kunwar Pada ka Mahal (palace intended for the enthroned prince), and the Zenana Mahal (chambers for the Royal ladies). Additionally, roses, jasmine blossoms, palm trees, frangipani trees, and bougainvillaea adorn the gardens of Jag Mandir Palace.
