The Chamera Lake, often called Chamba Lake, is the artificial reservoir for the Chamba Dam and is situated close to Dalhousie in the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. At Chamera Lake, the Himachal Pradesh Department of Tourism hosts a number of water sports, such as canoeing, kayaking, river rafting, and boating; lifeguards are on duty. The lake’s shores are perfect for having a picnic, particularly from March to June when the weather is mild. The lake, which is encircled by mountains on all sides, is ideal for nature photography. Around the lake, there are food stands selling drinks and snacks.
Boating Charges: Rs.300 for Adults and Rs.200 for Children for 30 minutes.
