Day 1: Delhi/Mumbai – Coimbatore (By Train Or Flight)
COIMBATORE – OOTY (100 KM/ 3 HRS)
Arrive in Coimbatore and meet with our representative with garland welcome. Later drive to Ooty, a well known hill station of Tamilnadu & called as “Queen of hill stations“. Arrive in Ooty and check into the hotel. Day at leisure activity. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 2: Ooty Local Sightseeing
After breakfast enjoy full day sightseeing in & around Ooty.
Visit Botanical garden: This garden was laid out in 1847 by the Marquis of Tweedale and is spread over 55 acres. Lush green well maintained lawns, rare tree species (like the cork tree which is probably the only such tree in India, the paper bark tree and the monkey puzzle tree – monkeys cannot climb this tree)
Ooty Lake: Ooty Lake stretches, in an irregular ‘L’ shape, for about two kilometres in length and varrying distances in width. At the far end is the Boat House where all kinds of boats are available for hire from eight in the morning to six in the evening.
Rose garden: Located less than a km from Charring Cross, the rose garden is laid on 10 acres of land. The garden has a collection of more than 1000 varieties of roses.
Pykara Falls: 19 km from Ooty. The river has a dam and power plant. There is a breathtaking scenery. The falls, about 6 km from the bridge on the main road. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 3: Ooty – Coonoor – Ooty (Full Day Excursion)
Enjoy a day trip to Coonoor, the second-largest hill station in the Nilgiris and home to tea plantations at an elevation of 1839 metres, after breakfast. It has a milder climate than Ooty. It is a well-liked highland station among travellers. Basically, Coonoor is a little town with tea gardens and beautiful, year-round cool weather. The Sim’s Park, a little, meticulously kept botanical garden with a variety of flora, is the primary draw. It is reachable by road and rail and is located roughly 19 km south of Ooty. Go back to Ooty and spend the night there.
Day 4: Ooty – Kodaikanal (265 Km/ 6-7 Hrs Drive)
Drive to Kodaikanal, one of the most well-known hill resorts in India, after breakfast. Situated amidst picturesque scenery on the southern peak of the upper Palani Hills, this hill station exudes charm.Kodaikanal spans 21.45 square kilometres and is located at a height of roughly 2,133 metres. The mountainous town is well known for its internationally acclaimed educational establishments. The plums and fruits of the hill plantain are renowned for their flavour and freshness. Berijam Lake, one of South India’s most picturesque lakes, covers 24 hectares.
Arrive in Kodaikanal & check into the hotel & relax. Evening free for walking and other activities. Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
Day 5: Kodaikanal Sightseeing
After breakfast enjoy full day sightseeing in & around Kodaikanal.
Sightseeing:
Kodai Lake: One of the main attractions for the tourists of Kodaikanal is the Kodai Lake. The lake is situated at an elevation of 2285m above sea level and it looks magnificent with star shaped glittering water, in the midst of evergreen lush slopes. Today lakhs of tourists walk around, sail on, ride on horses & cycles and admire the Lake.
Kurinji Andavar Temple: IThis temple situated 3 kms from the lake, is a famous shrine dedicated to Lord Muruga. In Tamil literature Kurinji means ‘hill region’ and Andavar means ‘God’. Hence Lord Muruga is referred as ‘God of hill’.
Waterfalls: you see some of great waterfalls near Kodaikanal so our expert driver will take care for these waterfalls as per waterfalls situations.
Dolphin Nose: Dolphins nose is at a distance of 8 kms from the bus stand, one has to follow the route specified here.There is an old road after crossing Pambar Bridge near levinge stream. A rough curve rounds the hillside which leads to a point where a flat rock projects over an awful chesm of 6600 feet deep. This is Dolphins nose. On the way, beautiful views of plains and steepy rocky eascarpeints called rolling hills can be seen.Later return back to Hotel 7 overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
Day 6: Kodaikanal – Coimbatore/Delhi/Mumbai (170 Km/ 4 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Coimbatore for your onward flight or train.
You will be transferred to railway station or Coimbatore airport as per your schedule.
